Sunday, December 21st only!  If you feel lazy (and hungry!) then maybe the Holiday Pajama Brunch Buffet at the Shed at Glenwood is your ticket.  This is tomorrow from 10am-3pm, and yes, you are expected to slide in there in your PJ’s and enjoy fried chicken with bourbon hot sauce and biscuits, maple-glazed bread pudding “French Toast,” and of course mimosas and bloody Mary’s.  It’s $22 and you can get your reservation by going to the website for the Shed at Glenwood.

Breaking Chews--12/20OK now here’s what I know foodies all over the city are going to want in their stockings Christmas Morning—a ticket to the biggest dinner in town which will be celebrating a new Cookbook, Atlanta’s Chef’s Table:  Extraordinary Recipes from the Big Peach.  This dinner will be happening on January 18th at Umi in Buckhead.  This will be a family style dinner created by the who’s who of chefs in town—Pano Karatassos from The Buckhead Life Group, Ford Fry from JCT Kitchen, St. Cecillia and the Optimist, Kevin Gillespie from Gunshow, Steven Satterfield of Miller Union, Annie Quatrano of Bacchanalia –I mean I would be totally star struck at this.  It’s $200 but comes with parings, champagne—this is going to be the bomb.  So again, this is the “it” gift for the foodie in your life, snatch up tickets and make their day.  Get your tickets here.

And last, it’s been a tough year. You’ve worked hard, you deserve a drink, right?  Well maybe the drink for you is the Barrel of Jewels at Article 14 in Midtown.  Served in a crystal glass, this $99 elixir mixes Louis XIII Cognac, top shelf rye whiskey, vermouth and bitters.  So for $99 you can really say farewell to 2014 with a bang…but you cannot keep the crystal glass!
